About us
Our mission is to fund and establish the work of the Great Commission globally. We are committed to spreading the message of the gospel through our work of faith, labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
"Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world" James 1:27
How we started
He must increase, but I must decrease - John 3:30
In light of the critical shortage of biblical missionaries and the stagnation of mission work caused by the mismanagement of church funds, Jaska felt a deep calling to create an organization focused on supporting global missionary efforts. The name Book of Remembrance Ministries was thoughtfully chosen, drawing inspiration from the final book of the Old Testament, Malachi.
In an era marked by the desecration of the sacred altar through impure offerings, the book of Malachi emerged as a poignant testament. A sense of indifference had taken root in the hearts of both the priests and the congregation. While many neglected to honor the name of the Lord of Hosts, a faithful remnant stood firm, embracing the name of Yahweh and holding His teachings in reverence.
This group is known as His treasured possession, in whom He delights and through whom He furthers His work in the world. The desire to glorify and elevate the Lord’s name across all nations served as the cornerstone for the founding of Book of Remembrance Ministries in late December 2022. Furthermore, there existed an even deeper yearning to transform into sanctified vessels, presenting worthy offerings at the sacred altar, thereby ensuring that our devotion is delightful in the sight of the Almighty.
We aspire not for our names to echo through the annals of time, but rather for our words and deeds, imbued with the Spirit of Christ, to be inscribed in the Book of Remembrance. We wish to be recognized as those who revered, cherished, and devoted themselves entirely to the Lord of Calvary with every part of our redeemed essence (Malachi 3:16-18).
What we do
- We conduct short-term mission and scout trips that are evangelistic in nature.
- We partner with local churches as we go on making disciples.
- We bring spiritual and financial aid to missionaires in need.
- We build and establish orphanages under Christian leadership. In short, we exist to further the gospel of Jesus Christ by addressing the spiritual and physical needs of the mission field and the missionaries throughout the world.
