laborers in the field
Nicholas and Helena Janzen
Our dear friends have been serving the Lord in Bolivia for over 20 years. They are currently working in San Ramon, a city with a population of approximately 10,000. Many of the locals are deeply rooted in Roman Catholicism, sorcery, and other satanic practices, making this region in desperate need of more laborers.
Over the years, the Lord has allowed them to see the fruits of their labor, and as a result, God has blessed them with a remnant. The believers gather at their home for church services. While Nicholas focuses on preaching and teaching, Helena oversees the children's ministry at the church. They are dedicated to discipling and helping believers grow in Christlikeness, all for the glory of His name.
After praying for a structure that could accommodate more people, God answered their prayers by miraculously providing the resources needed to begin construction. Once completed, this building will be used for church services, youth meetings and camps, Sunday school classes, feeding the community, and other purposes that the Lord sees fit. In addition to these efforts, they are actively evangelizing their neighbors and calling the people of San Ramon to repentance and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our friends can attest to the fact that many individuals, who were once employed by the devil to engage in lawlessness, have been transformed by the Lord of Calvary and now stand as victorious soldiers of the cross.
Having visited our friends in March of 2023, we can testify to the love they have for our Lord and His people. The ongoing work in San Ramon continues to bring glory to the Lord.
