Jesse was raised in a Christian home and grew up surrounded by God’s Word, but it wasn’t until age eleven that the gospel truly transformed his heart. Through his teenage years, he pursued a faith grounded in Christ, supported by his church and family. After high school, Jesse devoted himself to the martial arts industry, but a serious injury at nineteen became a turning point that drew him back to God’s deeper purpose for his life.
At twenty, God placed a special burden on his heart for Japan, leading him to attend a Discipleship Training School with YWAM Tokyo. During missions in the Philippines, he met his wife, before serving with YWAM in Belize. After getting married, Jesse and his wife were missionaries in Japan, and later moved to Brazil.
Now living in the United States with their two children, Jesse works in the construction industry as a project manager and serves his local church as a deacon and writer. His passion is to know God deeply and to be used by Him to build up the church and advance His Kingdom around the world.
